In the study and development process of blind and visually impaired children the main task is to protect their vision and methodically train it if possible. Students follow the public school programme except special techniques in drawing, sports and home economics.

The blind children are taught to read and write using the Braille technique. Luis Braille was a French typhlopedagogue  who invented  the writing method of dots. This system includes every letter, digit, orthography and mathematical symbols as well as musical script.
